Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Where you live does not alter the cost of treating a wasp nest. This guide explains why a fixed price ignores distance and what you can expect to pay instead.
Days out, picnics and walks fall in the same months as the wasp colony reaches its peak, so a little seasonal planning makes outdoor time easier.
The idea that wasps return to the same nest each year is widespread, and the real picture, from the last wasps of autumn to the first queens of spring, is quite different.
A hole at the foot of a hedge, with wasps walking in and out, usually means a ground-level nest, and it is more easily disturbed than people expect.
Outdoor plans and wasp nests do not mix; booking treatment before the event removes a hazard and a worry from the day.
