Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
When wasps start appearing in a bedroom, the nest is often only a few feet away above the ceiling, and the right first steps can stop a nuisance becoming a painful scramble.
If you let out a single house or flat, a tenant's wasp report calls for a calm, quick response, and good communication matters as much as the treatment.
For cafés, bakeries and tea rooms the trouble is rarely the building itself but the display counter, the open door and a nest nobody has found yet.
A garden with children in it changes how you handle wasps, and a few simple habits can keep an ordinary summer from turning into a trip to casualty.
Behind a fascia board a wasp nest can stay out of sight for weeks, so the clues are often sounds, stains and wasps appearing indoors rather than a visible nest.
